Luc Bürgin, born in 1970, is regarded as one of the most successful Swiss journalists and non fiction authors. His books were translated into numerous languages. Bürgin's most recent position was chief editor for a big daily newspaper. As a sign of recognition for his research he was awarded the Dr.-A.-Hedri-Award in the year 2000 at Bern University.
